The Helen Bolton Cribbage Tournament is held annually to remember Helen. She was renowned for her ability to chat, drink red wine, smoke a cigarette and unwittingly win many games of cribbage. More often than not, her partner was Jo Dormer. It is still unclear who led who astray.

Helen had a hugely positive impact on many people, initially with ICL Fujistu and later BBC Worldwide.
She was a vocalist and loved live performance. This developed into a successful career as a vocal & performance coach. In parallel to this she started a business, MAD Academy, with Sedge Gooding that delivered music and dance classes in the south of England for young children.

Helen had two children, Charlie and Tilly. They are frequent competitors at the Helen Bolton Cribbage Tournament. Tilly partners with Jo Dormer, and they have been three-time winners in previous years.
